Get a PaddleAir Ergo in Santa Barbara

Here's a scenario: Your enjoying the waves off Santa Barbara, but paddling is making your ribs sore, your back, neck and shoulders strain. What a bummer. You need a PaddleAir Ergo -- now! Well, your just minutes away from getting an Ergo at Surf 'n Wear's Beach House Surf Shop at 10 State Street in Santa Barbara. The Beach House is the latest surf shop to carry the Ergo.

Surf 'n Wear's Beach House

Surf 'n Wear's Beach House first opened its doors in 1962 near Rincon and moved to their present location in 1965. The shop is seeped in surfing tradition. It's the home of the iconic Yater surfboards created by Reynolds "Renny" Yater, a pioneer of surfboard shaping beginning in the early 1950s. And, here's a nice bit of trivia: The surfboard featured in the movie "Apocalypse Now" is a Yater board. You can read more about the Yater legacy here.

In addition to being Santa Barbara's exclusive Yater dealer, they also carry other top surfboard brands including vintage boards. The Beach House also has all types of boards and wetsuits for rent. You can also find an array of wetsuits and surf accessories for the entire family. They even have an "Apocalypse Now" line of tees and hoodies. And, of course, they now carry the PaddleAir Ergo.
